Crescendo for a Cause is an officially registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in the United States and a Presidential Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) certifying organization. Allen Beckwith, Kiran Mohan and Jonathan Raymond founded Crescendo for a Cause in 2018 with one mission in mind: to improve music education in underserved areas and utilize music performance as a vehicle for advocacy and community service.

Our organization aims to directly connect talented musicians located in underserved communities with high caliber musical mentors. We are dedicated to discovering and empowering untapped musical potential across the country. Crescendo for a Cause mentors come from a variety of musical backgrounds: All-State high school musicians, university music majors, top musical educators, principal musicians hailing from the 

Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and more. Together, we can steadily reduce the talent gap, and level the playing field for music students everywhere.

 

Our coalition of passionate musicians eager to make a difference have a widespread impact in their communities. Our chapters operate upon the foundation established in the Three Pillars and Bylaws of Crescendo for a Cause. You will find members in our chapters engaging in a variety of exciting service initiatives, including fundraisers for fine arts educational programs, instrument drives for areas lacking adequate resources, and performances to spread the joy of music.
